Food vs. Peeing
After reading my sister's blog it got me thinking. If I want food in heaven, does that mean I have to pee in heaven too? 'Cause I really hope there is no peeing in heaven.
I'm pregnant. Yes, I'm pregnant--19 weeks along now, And I've acquired a new aversion for the toilet (as opposed to food) in the past two months. Actually, it's more like a love/hate relationship. I love that I don't have to wear a diaper or use an outhouse, but I hate that I go to the bathroom 10-15 times a day.
One thing is for sure--I strongly urge anyone reading this to never swim in the same pool as me after I've finished swimming my laps. You might want to wait a week or so until they've re-chlorinated the water.
P.S. Cloth vs. Disposable diapers?
P.P.S. Not for me. For the baby.

I've had the feeling for a few months that you were pregnant but never wanted to ask and you were gone. I can't tell you how excited I am for you!!!! I hate the bathroom too because everywhere I go there has to be one.
I NEW IT.
Congrats guys.
It's worth the sanity and money and destroying the earth to do disposable.
That's just me.
Congratulations! Check out "G-diapers". If they cost the same as regular diapers I'd buy them. But they aren't too too expensive, and are much more convenient than cloth diapers. Too bad being earth friendly isn't always accommodating for the broke young student family eh? Congrats again!
Congrats Hillary!! Trust me your relationship with the bathroom will only get stronger. Mostly because when you gotta go you are so grateful that you have one there. Anyway, we are so happy for you and the next time you are in town, PLEASE call us and we'll get together. As for diapers, I am all for disposable. You already have to smell it and wipe it off their little bum so NO THANK YOU on cleaning the diapers too!!
Yay Hilary! Congrats! Just wait till Baby gets big enough to give you a swift kick to the bladder... This is how that scenario goes: You don't have to pee at all... and then two seconds later, you have to pee worse than you've ever had to pee EVER, and then two seconds late you're over it and don't have to pee anymore. Yep. Pregnancy ROCKS. (Really... it does. I loved being pregnant!)

Oh my goodness! I don't don't even know where to start! Ok, first... You're PREGNANT!!! AHHH Congratulations!!! Second, for 4 1/2 months pregnant, you don't even look SLIGHTLY pregnant, which is why I would have NEVER had known! Third, Yay! You have a blog! I'm so glad you found us, I love finding more friends online, and fourth, I totally am with you in pondering the eating and wasting in Heaven, I feel like Heaven should definitely include some sort of cheesecake or mint ice cream or something, but then I feel a little squirmy about the other end of it. Plus, who would clean the toilets in Heaven? Anyway, I feel ya on the peeing thing, you'll probably get a little break in a few weeks, but it'll come back in the end full throttle. After you deliver, you'll be amazed at yourself for how long it's been since you had to pee, and try to convince your husband that your bladder really is extraordinarily large and strong. Sorry for the novel I wrote, but anyway, congratulations again!!! So happy for you!
I am so happy for you! I never even considered cloth. I remember washing them out when I was little for my mom. It is a terrible memory. You will need a diaper after you have the baby if you want to jump on a tramp. My sisters and I do. We go put on a maxi before we jump. Babies are still worth it all.
I think it'd be worth it to pee in Heaven, if eating depended on it.
I do not think it'd be worth it to do cloth diapers. Even if eating depended on it.
There was a couple in my birthing class who planned on doing cloth diapers. They will be saving a lot of money, and it's going green, but poop is one area where I REALLY want convenience. And I don't trust my washing machine enough. But if you go for it, more power to ya! Let me know how it goes!
PS I am THRILLED for you! I wish I were in town to throw you a shower. :(
PSS I lost 4 pounds this past week, and I'm pretty sure it's from all the peeing I've been doing lately. So there is an upside!

I used cloth diapers for DEva(my 4 year old) and loved them. I would use a disposable at night becasue they feel so much dryer. Having two the disposables are nice but I think going to go back to cloth because they don't cost anything once you buy them. I would recommend if you do get some using disposables for the first little while they are so tiny and poop all the time.
cloth diapers....uh NO THANK YOU! you must be forgetting when mom used cloth diapers for cassi and we would have to rinse the poop out in the toilet, or when you pricked her with the pin.
costco diapers is the only way to go. before i heard about them i felt like i was buying diapers constantly. now that i think about it, i haven't bought diapers for months. they come in bulk and i actually like them even more than pampers (which are the good expensive ones).
is it a garth or a gathina? you better call me once you find out!
Congrats again on being pregnant. You mention peeing alot - did you not have to stick your face in the toilet from nausea? If not, lucky you. Consider the constant peeing a blessing, then. Just wait a few more months and you'll have an even more intimate relationship with the bathroom, I'm sure.
I've been using cloth diapers and I'm gonna have to go against what everyone else is saying. I really like them. Paul hooked up a special sprayer next to the toilet and spraying the poop off isn't really all that bad. It's only 2 diapers out of 10 a day and it does save a ridiculous amount of money in the long run. I use Fuzzibunz but there are tons of other companies out there and they've come a long way from the pins that poke you, etc. Like another one of your friends, I occasionally use disposables at night or when we're at church, but for the most part the cloth ones work great.
I'll still like you if you decide to go disposable, though.;-)
I did cloth for about.....8 months... then when #2 was about 2 months from coming, we switched back to disposable and sold our entire cloth stock. It's so great and nice and helpful to mother nature, but let's face it... it's nice to throw the crap out in the trash :)
Hilary you are going to be the coolest mom in the whole world! Congrats a little girl! Gotta use disposable diapers, you will have enough laundry with just cloths and blankets.
